Dr. Adèle Lafrance PhD, C. Psych is a clinical psychologist, research scientist, best-selling author and speaker. She is also the co-developer Emotion-Focused Family Therapy for eating disorders and for general mental health. Related to EFFT, she is a trainer/supervising/consulting psychologist for a number of generalized and specialized mental health agencies across Canada and in Europe. Dr. Lafrance is also an author of several publications in the field of clinical psychology. Specifically, she is interested in the role of 1. emotion, 2. the family and 3. clinician factors in the delivery of mental health interventions. She is also interested in the use of psychedelics, including ayahuasca, in the treatment of mental health issues.
