Second person to join with John Tantum in early 2000 to develop a business plan for a new US mobile venture which became a JV between Virgin Group in UK and Sprint PCS to offer prepaid wireless phone service targeted at US 15-30 year old market. - Principal responsibility for finance function including development of business plan, financial models, private placement, quantitative analysis of costs and product plan. - Negotiated key portions of joint-venture, audited Sprint PCS's cost structure. - Led development of Virgin Mobile's data product suite, including WAP and SMS applications; negotiated exclusive relationship with MTV. For example, created the "Rescue Ring" and "Hit List". IPO 2008, Acquired by Sprint PCS - Left after $300mm capital committed and product launched.
