About

Brian Shniderman is a 34-year veteran of the payments and fintech industry. His goal is to dramatically help improve how people afford and pay for the most important things, like healthcare. He is responsible for bringing a new financing and payment model to the US market with the mission of offering a smarter way to budget and pay for life-changing purchases like out of pocket costs for medical procedures. He joined Opy from Deloitte, where he founded and grew the firm’s globally top-ranked payments practice. He successfully helped the C-suite of large global companies implement high-visibility, complex payments, fintech and banking strategies, mergers and acquisitions, operations, and technology initiatives. These include large credit card issuers, merchant acquirers, networks, payments processors, private equity, corporates, hospitals, insurance companies, governments, and merchants. Prior to Deloitte, Brian was an executive at several advisory firms, focusing on fintech and payments. In 2001, he was recognized as an innovator of the year by Fortune for introducing approaches for B2B equity-based payments, continuing to innovate and launch new fintech products since then. A thought leader in payments and fintech, Brian has been featured in The Wall Street Journal, Forbes, Fortune, CNN, American Banker, The Business Standard, Dow Jones, HBR, Wired, CIO, Bloomberg, Boston Globe and the Chicago Tribune to name a few.
