As the General Manager of New York City, oversaw and managed the development of PivotDesk’s largest market.

Spent the first year at PivotDesk as the sole employee in NYC building out its largest market by establishing a strong foundational ecosystem for the company to operate within.

In 2015, responsibilities evolved frequently as I was asked to build out the NYC team and solve a number of challenges across the business – at both the local market and national levels.

Areas of work span business development, sales, marketing, strategy + product development, financial budgeting + forecasting, recruiting + hiring, public relations, and partnerships.

Implemented entrepreneurial policy and programmatic initiatives for NYCEDC’s Center for Economic Transformation 

- Oversaw 6 initiatives; project managed 24 contracts with external partners and consultants; highlights include:
- 2014 NYC BigApps Competition: Premier initiative of the City of New York which seeks to solve civic problems with technology - Secured over 100 organizational partners including Facebook, Google, eBay and Microsoft
- NYC Incubator Network: Selected operators for and provided strategic support to 15+ incubators including: General Assembly, NYU Varick and DUMBO incubators, Brooklyn Food Works, Made in NY Media Center, BMW iVentures 
 - 2012 and 2013 Take the H.E.L.M. Competitions: Launched and managed competition seeking to diversify the commercial base of Lower Manhattan by attracting high-growth potential, creative and technology companies
