Cabify is a transportation services platform founded in 2011 with operations across Latin America, Spain and Portugal. With Cabify, customers enjoy seamless on-demand pick-ups, safe traceable journeys and hassle-free electronic payments. Using Cabify, riders receive better, faster service at more competitive prices. While at Cabify, I was responsible for founding the global marketing team and expanding it to the 6 verticals: Data Analytics, Digital Marketing, Brand, Design, Strategy and Communications. We grew Cabify from 4 cities and 4 countries to 42 cities 13 countries, from 1,000 users a day to 1,000,000 users a day, all while dropped CAC by 45% and maintaining attractive LTVs and user retention rates.

Yellowsmith was a community of makers working together to make great jewelry. Each jewelry design was created by a designer, voted on by a global community, and produced in the Yellowsmith workshop. Yellowsmith jewelry was sold exclusively on the web and at select retail locations. The company was venture-backed by Lightbank (Groupon founders), Great Oaks (seed investors in Bonobos, Warby Parker, and Modcloth) an Riverwood Capital (investors in Crocs, Zappos, Quriky Harrys, & Warby Parker). The company was featured on Instyle, Glamour, Today Show, Cosmopolitan, Lucky, and was selected as Instyle's 2013 Best of the Web.

I was a unofficial board observer to DFJ investments: Deeya, Tioga, Nanotune, Carbon Micro Battery, Brightsoource, BiofuelBox, EdenIQ, Coaltek, Oasys, Genomatica, Glycos Bio,Synthetic Genomics. During my time at DFJ, I co-founded Young Professionals in Energy (Bay Area) to connect young professionals with resources and opportunities in the energy sector.

Morgan Stanley is a global financial services firm and a market leader in securities, asset management and credit services. While at Morgan Stanley, I focused on leveraged buyouts and initial public offerings across energy and technology industries. I was responsible for evaluating the feasibility of LBO targets from an investing, valuation and financing perspective by independently preparing detailed company and industry analysis, assessing business/product mix, financial profiles, ownership, capital structure, comparables, sector trends and macro factors. I also conducted in depth valuation and comparable company analysis, discounted cash flows, optimal transaction size and structure, and ownership analysis. While at MS, I founded the Microfinance Group, set up to foster discussion and education on microfinance within and outside the firm.
