    Pitney Bowes

    Regional Manager, Maintenance Operations
Direct management of the eastern region for PB Global Logistics. In addition to managing the region I supported the entire network traveling to all sites providing direct support to new launches, and training new maintenance teams. The training included various levels of maintenance staff including regional managers, maintenance managers, and maintenance technicians. I was responsible for identifying needed site spares, site tool needs, and technical training needs. I have been directly involved in new builds to ensure that punch list items were completed by the vendor when previously vendors felt comfortable leaving many items unaddressed. Developed KPI’s that measured and directed our actions to ensure we were behaving as a successful maintenance team. I created a training matrix to standard technician skillset across the network. Also, implemented lean maintenance practices to ensure the teams were being efficient and eliminating waste.

    Pitney Bowes

    Maintenance Manager
As a corporate maintenance manager for the FDR division, I directly managed a team of 12 maintenance technicians covering two facilities. In addition to managing these sites I traveled and supported five new facilities that were opening in the network. Managed all material handling equipment within the two facilities and managed building grounds, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing. Managed a 10-million-dollar capital expansion that helped build support for new client growth. Launched a corrugate recycling program in CVG that reduced operating costs by 360k per year, since inception of this program it was adopted at a network level with a revenue stream of several million dollars. This program also gave the company government credits for sustainability and reduced our carbon footprint.

    Blue Grass Quality Meats

    Maintenance Manager
As a maintenance manager I had direct oversight of a team of 20 people running a 24/7 production operation. I was directly responsible for facility, production, and fleet maintenance. This included very complex wastewater systems, boilers, ammonia cooling systems, freezers, ovens, processing equipment, packaging, and lift equipment. In this role I was the safety director for the site in charge of all safety training for the facility to include LOTO, HACCP, GMP, SSOP, and SQF’s. Launched a preventive maintenance program that was not established inside of the company. This resulted in increased uptime and reduced operating costs for the business. Directly responsible for making the facility OSHA compliant in Arc Flash, and LOTO which were missing and very much needed. The OEE improvements made from these efforts resulted in a 22% reduction in downtime.

I was tasked with daily operational support which included shift scheduling, budgeting, MRO stockroom management, and managing scheduled outages. Implemented standardized training for the team to improve the overall skillset of the maintenance team and introduced consistency to each shift’s repair capabilities. Managed the use and drove improvement using a CMMS system. Daily meetings with our maintenance team, and customers. Improved the preventive maintenance practices at the site which were inconsistent and incomplete for the site’s needs. I made it a daily standard to visit each machine and get feedback from operators to improve the overall site output and ensured that my team was a contributor in that success.
