Corporate Brand Manager, Collectibles – May 2014 to Oct. 2015 • Manager and consultant for all brands within Elemetal Minting Corporation: Dallas Gold and Silver Exchange (DGSE), BIGGAME, Provident Metals, and NTR Metals • Achieved a 48% profit margin over wholesale for all products on the secondary market • Conceptualized “Elemetal Baseball Greats” series; managed end-to-end, licensing to production and sales. • Conceptualized and led innovative design, licensing, packaging and marketing of highly successful collectible silver bars featuring professional athletes. Merchandise Manager – June 2005 to March 2013 • Leader of four-member Marketing and Sales team for new and existing dealer account maintenance of Beckett Marketplace monthly services. • Managed digital strategy for products and advertising on Beckett.com, including but not limited to print ads, e-mail communication, and web site. • Managed memorabilia consignment sales auctions in collaboration with professional sports organizations, agents, and athletes. Clients included: The Anaheim Ducks, BDA Sports, Steve Nash, Yao Ming, Baron Davis, Brandon Jennings, Ben Roethlisberger, Emmitt Smith, Bob Gibson, and Stan Musial. • Created and commissioned exclusive sketch card series in cooperation with artist Kevin-John; distinctive artwork was sold in cooperation with selected, high-profile sporting events. • Built relationships with memorabilia collectors and brokered sales of their assets and collections through consignment, auction and direct sale via Beckett.com, eBay, and other channels. Notable collections included a newfound hoard of T206 cards and the first Beckett Grading Services-graded Honus Wagner, which sold at auction for almost $400,000 and received significant national media attention. • Leader of corporate Beckett card grading sales. Managed high-volume orders for baseball card market leaders and retailers, including Target and Walmart. Annual average revenues in excess of $400,000.
