After a successful career in academic research, Dr. Clark was headhunted by the dairy ingredient company, DMV International in 1995. During his 15 year career with DMV International, Campina and subsequently FrieslandCampina Domo, Dr.Clark led the development and market introduction of numerous new ingredients including acid whey-based WPC, multiple protein hydrolysates for infant formula and dietary supplements and new texture-forming ingredients for use in ice cream and yoghurt applications. In 2007, Dr. Clark was appointed CEO of DMV International’s Nutritionals Business Unit with responsibility for global production, supply and sales of nutritional ingredients to the infant, medical nutrition and dietary supplement markets. Since 2010, Dr. Clark has utilized his professional network and expertise developed during his academic and commercial careers to support and resource his own consultancy company, Bovina Mountain Consulting LLC. (BMC). In the intervening period BMC has worked with a wide range of U.S. and European-based clients.
