How does this work?

I helped found Tom Snyder Productions, an educational software pioneer, in the early 1980's, leading to a long and productive career in the education technology industry. For many of those years, I have simultaneously been a member of the faculty at the Harvard Graduate School of Education, where I teach a course titled Innovation by Design that focuses on translating research into effective new products and practices. I also teach a course on adaptive learning that explores ways to address multiple dimensions of learner variability. In addition to teaching, I consult with a range of educational organizations, sharing my experience in teaching, curriculum development, professional development, and school policy (serving 9 years on my local school committee). I am a Global Learning XPRIZE judge and an editorial board member for the journal npj Science of Learning. I have a deep commitment to improving education for all learners.
