Jason Alegro PharmD, BCPS

Infectious Diseases Clinical Pharmacist & Clinical Assistant Professor

How does this work?

I strive to inspire, motivate, and empower others in the field of pharmacy and healthcare. I am driven to practice as a clinical pharmacy specialist in infectious disease and make a positive impact on public health and antimicrobial stewardship, especially in a time where multi-drug resistance runs rampant, new antimicrobial development is stagnant, and the antimicrobials we do have are often utilized improperly. I understand that a multidisciplinary approach is necessary to change these trends, and my goal is to practice at the top of my license and work with my colleagues to effect positive change on a large scale and innovate upon how we approach the most difficult issues in infectious diseases.
