My industry experience spans small start ups, such as BSecure Technologies,, Briq, and Offer Up, to large companies--Electronic Arts (EA) and Google. I've led the Intelligent Systems team at EA that helps game studios find ways to leverage AI and data driven solutions within their games. My applied research topics have included identifying Martian geological formations (for Spirit and Opportunity rovers), modeling ground-based laser marksmen, and computed tomography of debris fields from holograms during armor penetration tests. I have authored seven refereed journal publications, two edited books, six book chapters, and twenty-eight refereed conference papers. I hold thirty four US patents, with another dozen applications in flight. I received my Masters and Ph.D. in computer science from The Ohio State University.
