Our ability to communicate in different ways and collaborate to solve complex challenges is something that excites me everyday. As a creative with a background in computer science and psychology, I love finding the most creative ways to connect people with technology particularly within the EdTech space. At Labster, I'm helping empower the next generation of scientists to change the world by combining the use of virtual technology to help students understand and apply science to solve global challenges. Like a lot of people, I enjoy pushing boundaries and generating big ideas. But I know when my eyes are bigger than my budget – I'm a realist who can balance resources towards the short-term wins on the way towards a long-term vision. Collaborating and fostering new relationships is a highlight of my working life.

VP Product Management, Partnerships, Mobile

Currently I lead the teams of B2B Product Managers, B2B Product Marketing, Product Owners, Internal Business Systems, the B2C Mobile team and the new emerging business areas. As is typical in any entrepreneurial endeavour, my time at Labster has varied as we've grown from <5 people to 200+. This is probably the highlight reel: - Driving our first global sales expansion selling to our early clients side-by-side with the CEO in the trenches, with $500k+ deals in the first 12 months (10x growth) - Seeding new markets around the world, landing our first flagship clients across Nth America, UK, EU, and APAC - Landing our first 7-figure deal (Google) to leap-frog our product and technology forward - Pitching to investors (including Jeff Bezos) and supporting the closing of fundraising rounds taking our valuation from < 6-figures to 9-figures+ - Launching the world's first VR biology degree with Google and ASU, which attracted over 100+ news articles around the world, multiple gold awards at Reimagine Education, and 3x'd our inbound leads - Creating our go-to-market, operational and business plans for 3x YoY growth across multiple verticals and geographies, company-wide risk assessments and mitigation strategies - Developing our product strategy to improve product-market fit, leading our innovation efforts and several early market-differentiating features I've travel the world delivering talks, keynotes and workshops on 5 continents, discussing how to transform education and make it work at scale with both teachers and students at the heart. Along the way I've enjoyed bringing in a stack of strategic clients to position the company as a global thought-leader including Google, Lenovo, Harvard University, Imperial College London, California State University System, University of Florida, and Arizona State University, all while generating significant revenue for the business.

Created engaging immersive experiences leveraging a mix of new technologies including augmented reality and wearable tech. Learnt how to run huge events, manage complex development projects, and work with multi-national sponsors.

Built out a suite of digital and offline products to raise awareness and engage the public in new enabling technologies, and rolled them out nation-wide. Advisor to the Minister for Science and Technology. Learnt to ship public-facing products, develop national/market-wide strategies, and how to leverage data to build the right products for the right audience.

Senior Program Designer and Program Manager - Science

Developed from scratch an award-winning cross-cultural science curriculum for disadvantaged Indigenous communities and rolled them out simultaneously to several extremely remote areas. Learnt how to collaborate closely across diverse cultures, iterate a product to improve adoption and work with executives.

Outreach Officer

Created and delivered engaging science, technology and innovation presentations in schools and universities across Australia. Coordinated several extended tours including organising logistics, freight, bookings, PR and media coverage, conducted interviews, and represented the Australian Government and Corporate sponsors in hundreds of regional communities. Presented to over 30,000 students and thousands of teachers and mentored young students in innovation.
