Facebook's Boost Your Business 2015 National Tour Presenter | Facebook Small Business Training

In 2014-2016, Facebook hosted a series of live educational events around the world called "Boost Your Business," comprised of both half-day and 2-hour pop-up events. With more than 60 million active Small Business Pages on Facebook, these events are designed to help business owners achieve greater success and growth. MY ROLE: Facebook hired me to facilitate the U.S. tour in 2015 comprising four half-day events, where I contributed my own Facebook marketing expertise and SMB business development knowledge at each event. I emceed each event, moderated a panel of four local small business owners who have achieved success with Facebook and Instagram advertising, and provided one-on-one consultations for 50-100 audience members at each event, answering their most pressing questions about Facebook marketing and small business growth. The events were a tremendous success with very positive feedback from audience members and Facebook. The 2015 Boost Your Business half-day events ran from June through October. The main Facebook tour landed in four cities: San Diego, CA, Minneapolis, MN, Nashville, TN, and Boston, MA. WHAT ATTENDEES LEARNED: How to properly optimize Facebook’s products and tools for your business – Facebook's then head of SMB North America, Jonathan Czaja, delivered an information-packed keynote speech. [Jonathan has since left this role at Facebook; the Boston event featured success story Little Passports owner, Amy Norman.] Facebook also featured four partners: MailChimp, Shopify, Visa and Zenefits.
