Oversee Blood Bank, Chem, Coagulation, Hematology, Micro, and Urinalysis along with Anatomic Pathology section. • Developed new organizational structure to integrate laboratory operations across entities to improve efficiency and reduce cost ( approx. $200,000) while maintaining service levels • Facilitated implementation of a replacement fully-automated Hematology system that reduced operating costs (approx. $100,000), more appropriately utilized technical staff time, and produced consistent, standardized results • Launched and coordinated vendor selection and proposal review for high volume Chemistry and pre-analytical automation replacement project • Developed, identified, and acted on opportunities for revenue and volume growth • Created culture to recruit technical staff saving $260,000 in temporary staffing costs • Successfully implemented Epic Beaker
