In this role, I was responsible for the administrative and operational leadership of the OB/GYN Service Line at Signature Healthcare, including oversight of 40+ direct and indirect reports and 14 providers, practicing at six locations throughout southeastern Massachusetts. Working in a dyad relationship with the Chief of OB/GYN, we partnered to assess strategic opportunities, develop and implement clinical quality initiatives, and oversee the growth of the obstetrics and gynecology program at Signature Healthcare. I also served as Co-Chair of the Clinical Informatics Steering Committee, overseeing Signature’s conversion to the Meditech Expanse EHR. During my employment, the OB/GYN team attained the following: - Named by Newsweek as one of the nation’s Top Maternity Hospitals - one of only 7 in Massachusetts and the only hospital in the Boston area achieving this designation - Integration of the GYN Oncology program in conjunction with Beth Israel into the OB/GYN service line - Significant increases in obstetric delivery volume, resulting from the recruitment of new physicians, as well as partnership with Brockton Neighborhood Health Center providers - Reorganization and development of a highly skilled, successful leadership team of practice managers and leads
