About

I'm a startup operator and enjoy building companies during the zero to one phase (pre-seed, seed, series A). I'm particularly interested in healthcare innovation. I most recently built Garner Health (www.getgarner.com) through its Series A, where I was the first employee and VP of Operations. I owned business operations, go-to-market strategy, partnerships, and wore a bunch of different hats as we onboarded our first 10,000 members. Before this, I owned supply strategy & ran the telemedicine network at Maven Clinic (www.mavenclinic.com). I helped operationalize & scale our virtual network to include more than 1,200 providers across two dozen verticals (e.g. OBGYNs, midwives, therapists, doulas, sleep coaches, pediatricians).

As the head of operations, I wore many hats including business operations, product and go-to-market strategy, business development, and member services. Garner is a health tech startup that uses data science to help people find high quality healthcare. Investors included Thrive, Sequoia, Founders Fund, and Maverick.

I ran Maven’s telemedicine marketplace of 1,200+ clinicians across 20+ verticals. With <5 months lead-time, I operationalized the supply org for successful launch with a Fortune 25 employer. I also established a strategy and network of partners for in-person referrals in dozens of key markets. Investors included Sequoia and Oak HC/FT.

We focused on modernizing the patient experience via solutions that helped providers deliver more convenient and seamless care (e.g. software for housecalls & remote patient monitoring). Clients included cardiology & nephrology practices in greater Philadelphia and New Jersey. My cofounder and I bootstrapped this venture.

Summer Intern - Mayor's Internship Program

I was a project lead for a Philadelphia bike share feasibility study. Our research and recommendations kicked off a process which ultimately led to the city launching its bike share program, Indego, albeit several years later (that's how long things take in government!). I also worked on municipal finance & investment operations in the City Treasurer's Office.
