I am co-founder of Decentology (was TryCrypto), an organization devoted to making blockchain more accessible to mainstream users starting with developers. My co-founder Chase Chapman and I believe deeply in a future where decentralization sows the seeds for egality in the world and are excited to work hard every day toward this goal. As an entrepreneur, I wear every hat needed to make my startup a success. But I'm most passionate about building innovative products from inception through alpha, beta and production. Writing code is and always will be fun for me, but so is leadership. Recruiting people to my team, getting them to believe in the vision and collaborating to realize that vision brings me great joy and is what I excel at. Feel free to contact me with opportunities on any of these topics at nik at kalyani.com: - Advisory Board for technology startups, esp. blockchain - Board of Directors of technology non-profits - Technology advisor/EIR for venture firms - Speaking at technology/business conferences on blockchain, Smart Contracts and/or startups

iWidgets was my first foray into the world of Internet startups. I envisioned pluggable portal apps called "widgets" and founded iWidgets.com. Funded by angels and Draper, the company did well until the great dot com bust happened and funding dried up.
