I joined Tradecraft to dive deeper into developing design skills that could be applied to all phases of product design, from exploratory to iterative. Some of the projects I worked on included: SpotOn •Created usability guides to test the user experience of SpotOn’s site. •Identified SpotOn’s target user. •Conducted usability tests and created design recommendations based upon usability analysis. Pinterest •Created task flows, wireframes and high fidelity designs introducing a new filter feature to Pinterest’s main feed. •Prototyped this feature and validated it with users fitting the identified persona. Vint •Created a usability guide to review Vint’s site flow. •Identified pain points on the Vint app and created design recommendations to improve the user experience. •Created task flows, wire frames and high fidelity designs to showcase changes. Tights or Scarves •Created a persona to identify the “Tights & Scarves” user. •Designed the app and prototyped it for user validation. •Coded the app, launched it in beta and tested it with users who fit the created persona.
