Reporting directly to the Chief Operations Officer, I was responsible for establishing the strategic direction of our global transportation and logistics service for this top 20 Brand. Scope of responsibilities included forming the technology requirements and building the operational team to support Ocean and Air Freight, Customs clearance, Consolidation, Store Deliveries, Middle and Last Mile, Mail Returns, Dropship Operations and Omni-Channel Logistics. I developed many strategic relationships across the Transportation and Logistics industry; including U.S. Postal Service, UPS, FedEx, Expeditors, OnTrac, LaserShip, Cardinal, Maersk, CH Robinson, JB Hunt, and Pitney-Bowes. Nordstrom brands included Nordstrom, Rack and Hautelook totalling 350 retail stores, making 100M parcel home deliveries and 8M mailed returns along with moving over 400M pounds of freight annually across a network of 11 fulfillment and distribution centers in North America. Our Omni-channel ship from store was one of the most progressive in the retail industry. Ship from store combined with hundreds of dropship vendors across the U.S. made up over 50% of our customer fulfillment.

Responsible for $1B+ Transportation and freight budget reporting directly to the Chief Operations Officer. Define and implement the strategic roadmap for inbound, outbound, returns, in-home delivery and the x-border transportation network supporting the $14B QRG ecommerce retail fashion brands: QVC, HSN, zulily and Cornerstone. QRG is the 3rd largest U.S. ecommerce mobile retailer, shipping over 300 million units via 200 million parcel packages annually from 17 fulfillment centers and thousands of dropship vendor relationships across the U.S. Applied inbound network’s budget of $200M+ annually to ensure the movement of 5k+ metric tons of international air freight, 20k+ ocean freight containers and 50k+ domestic full truck and less-than-truckload shipments to QRG fulfillment centers. • Team manages over 100 logistics and transportation contracts across QRG. • Organization consists of over 70 team members in four separate locations. • Leading team that has experience in; Business Analytics, negotiations, parcel shipping, ocean freight, FT/LTL shipments, air freight, customs, hazmat, project management, EDI and vendor dropship. • Many strategic relationships across the Transportation and Logistics industry; including U.S. Postal Service, UPS, FedEx, DHL, Maersk, CH Robinson, JB Hunt, and Pitney-Bowes.

Provided executive leadership during pre and post initial public offering (IPO) of ecommerce fashion retailer Exciting, fast paced environment building the Transportation and Logistics model from ground up. This included implementing regional placement of inventory to improve speed and lower costs through consolidating more parcel shipments. Developed business rules for shipment generation software tied into the order management system and end of line third party shipping software to optimize parcel method routing, consolidation of product and shipping from the closest FC. The business grew from $600M to $1.5B along with launching international x-border shipping that has captured $100M of business. This included establishing a 3rd party FC in China that ships parcel packages directly to customers in the United States and Canada.

Successful leader for over 14 years at transforming the way people shop globally through building an innovative logistics and ecommerce retail environment recognizing the customers experience as most important. During my tenure, dynamically grew from a $1B company into a $75B Fortune 100 company. • Director of cross functional World Wide (WW) Inventory Management team focused on optimizing Amazon’s strategic selection and availability of products with fast delivery. Highly visible program that partnered with over 100 retail categories across six countries that delivered successful results and provided semi-annual executive presentations during last three years at Amazon. • Director of WW Customer Service Operations for Sellers on the Amazon website. Team of over 700 Associates provided phone, chat and email customer service for third party Sellers in six countries. Our support was 24 x 7 via a global network of ten WW locations. We successfully responded to millions of contacts annually by applying metrics, capacity planning, software development improvements, training and project management. • Negotiated over $40MM dollars in annual savings as a Senior Transportation Contract Manager by lowering premium air and ground rates with primary package carriers; UPS, FedEx and DHL. • Senior Merchandising Manager responsible for most favorable contract terms and operational performance of the largest book suppliers, Ingram Books and Baker & Taylor.

Plant director for the second largest Compact Disc (CD) manufacturing facility in the U.S. Provided leadership for a staff of over 100 engineering and production personnel with annual sales of $40MM. During my tenure: • Production increased by 10 times over a 5-year period. • Reduced manufacturing costs per unit by 70%. • Implemented Just in Time (JIT) inventory with suppliers. • Implemented ISO 9002 certification for CD manufacturing facility.

Responsible for over $60MM a year in software purchases for resale through Egghead’s retail and corporate channels. Directed marketing programs for in-store and direct mail sales lift. Conducted vendor negotiations, determined purchase quantities, established retail prices, managed inventory levels in distribution centers and stores. • Directed marketing programs for products that increased sales by 20%. • Decreased obsolete inventory by 50%.
