Prior Stephen led Assurant’s initiative to launch and expand its Protect Your Bubble (PYB) brand, spearheading the full development lifecycle of the direct to consumer business model. Stephen conceptualized and launched the brand as the D2C category leader in UK gadget insurance. Capitalizing on this success, PYB expanded in the UK, and was subsequently offered in the US and Brazil. Prior to Assurant, Stephen held leadership positions at John Lewis Partnership and AXA Insurance. During his tenure, he oversaw the successful development and launch of a portfolio of insurance products, and championed influential channel marketing campaigns. Stephen’s educational background includes a Bachelors degree in Philosophy and Theology from Durham University, supported by a Diploma in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing, both in the UK. Stephen has more than 15 years of experience spearheading innovative Digital solutions, product and communication initiatives for corporations looking to gain a competitive edge.
