I've held various roles throughout my tenure as a web application developer, senior developer, project manager, client manager, Digital Strategist, Scrummaster, Head of Special Projects, Head of IT Operations, Director of IT and most recently Director of Standards & Compliance at Myplanet. Accountable and responsible for the Information Technology portfolio, reporting to the CTO. Facilitating, setting and advancing methods and standards for company-wide project delivery in related areas including IT systems governance, application and infrastructure security, data and information privacy, site performance and scalability, accessibility, marketing readiness and launch preparation.

Head of IT Operations

Responsible for planning/executing on the 2014-2018 roadmap for Information Technology and establishing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the team. Report to the CTO. At request of the CFO, ongoing management and ownership of the IT Responsibility Center and Budget of ~4% of gross revenue. Initiatives such as network infrastructure build outs, automated hardware deployment, anti-theft and enterprise security mechanisms and productivity application roll outs; spanning our offices in Toronto, Vancouver, Chicago and Ukraine, and all other remote workers. Working with all company verticals (business development, administrative, operations, marketing, product, etc) to ensure that IT is not only an effective enabler, but also helps move business units forward faster.

Head of Special Projects

Architected, executed on and facilitated high level research for activities that improved the efficiency and productivity of the entire organization. At the intersection of technology and operations, I worked closely with the Director team on matters such as IT procurement, infrastructure and server management, information access and organization, remote worker engagement and security. Served as Technical Lead for our newly created Strategy & Support team: providing guidance, growth support and helping build the collective technical intelligence of the team. Alongside our developers and engineers, I would assess and resolve reported critical issues for our enterprise client projects. Working with engineers, architects and technical consultants, I coordinated all technical aspects of our new office move from Markham to Toronto, such as testing and installation of telecommunications systems, data/power line installation, network infrastructure setup and telepresence implementation over a 9 month period.

- Student Staff liaison and mentor for undergraduate students on Engineering Faculty Based Floor. - Responsible for coordinating developmental/academic/social programs and for cultivating and maintaining a community of mutual respect and being on-call for emergency situations. - Underwent intensive two-week training program each year to improve my skills in handling extreme circumstances such as suicide, eating disorders, sexuality, medical emergencies, etc.

Developed and implemented a sophisticated database tracking system to track Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) applications/releases affiliated with the Bank. Redesigned, developed and implemented a custom Departmental Document Intranet Portal; eliminating previous design’s shortcomings.

Junior Change & Security Coordinator

Responsible for weekly monitoring of server hardening activities on the bank's remote computing systems. Converted the manual monitoring task into an automated process that takes 10% of the time to complete.
