Toufic Kachaamy, MD, FASGE, AGAF is an enterprise Director of the Interventional Gastroenterology program at CTCA and the Medical Director Gastroenterology and Endoscopy at CTCA Phoenix. As a nationally recognized therapeutic endoscopist, his focus is on gastrointestinal malignancies prevention, diagnosis, staging, and palliation. His highly sought-after specialty in cryotherapy received national attention by FOX News Channel in 2019 for its use in relieving dysphagia in patients with inoperable esophageal cancer.
Dr. Kachaamy is known by patients and colleagues alike for his philosophy – always dream big. He is proud to be able to deliver quality, multi-disciplinary patient care and pursue his passions as an innovator and researcher. His research on technology for interventional oncology has led to several patents along with research publications in Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, expert reviews of Gastroenterology & Hepatology, Clinical Gastroenterology and Hepatology, and Current Opinion in Gastroenterology.
