Tenka Labs Inc.

Chief Executive Officer

Tenka Labs inspires kids to become more tech-literate while having fun via a line of electronic building blocks which work with Lego (i.e actually remote control Han Solo's Landspeeder!). I was able to help them dramatically reduce costs, extend their runway, reduce risk, test potential new markets and products, and find new leadership and capital (e.g. ultimately successfully packaged the company and sold it).

Maker Media

Head of eCommerce (DBA Maker Shed and Make: kits)

Think of the coolest •technology bookstore, •museum gift shop, •arts & craft shop, and •electronics store you can dream up—now roll them all into one. Maker Shed was an irresistible collection of books, kits, robots, microcontrollers, science sets, electronics, tools and supplies, and I'm honored to have been able to set its strategic direction and annual goals in conjunction with Make's leadership team, and to curate the assortment, grow top-line revenue and both the size and engagement of their email lists, and get the business profitable.
