Working on Mer Core and next generation mobile stacks on top of it as well as research efforts into whatever falls into my lap. I've also been extensively involved with hiring and interviewing to build one of the best teams in mobile Linux. In this work I pioneered the use of libhybris to leverage Android drivers on non-Android mobile OS as well as the ability to utilize the Wayland windowing system with Android drivers. On top of that, I've been supporting our business development meetings with investors and partners with technical knowledge.

MeeGo Nokia N900 hardware adaptation maintainer

In my work as Nokia N900 hardware adaptation maintainer for the MeeGo project I've spent a lot of time on many different areas, ranging from systems bringup, cross compilation techniques, ARM porting of software and whole distributions, graphics adaptation (GLES/EGL) as well as guiding the MeeGo ARM team's work from a technical angle.

The Mer Project


In the "old" Mer project, we were seeking out to rebase the Maemo stack on top of Ubuntu as to reconstruct it towards fitting towards a modern day reality of multiple vendors and devices. When MeeGo came along, we decided to join efforts with that project.
