    1. September 2020 – present

      VITO

      Trainee (Sustainable Materials Management)
I am currently engaged in research for manufacturing new construction materials from construction and demolition waste. The routes taken can vary according to the specification needs and environmental compliance. This is also a part of my master thesis and I would be comfortable in providing consultation in sustainable building materials, sustainable building legislation and LCA of concrete based materials.

      Knowde

      Technical Data Analyst
    4. March 2018 – August 2018

Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology (IIEST), Shibpur

      Project Fellow
Name of project: “Exploration of different electrode systems for rechargeable batteries” • Responsibilities: Conducting experiments on deposition of Tin (Sn) nanoparticles on conducting and non-conducting substrates through electroless route. Experimentation on the use of suitable electrocatalysts to speed up reaction. • Skills 1) First reporting on the deposition of Sn-nanoparticles through electroless deposition. 2) Hands on experience in operating Potentiostat-Galvanostat and Impedance Spectroscopy
    5. March 2017 – October 2017

      NIT Durgapur

      Junior Research Fellow
Name of project: “Dispersion of modified Starch onto Polymer matrix towards Enhancement of its Biodegradability to reduce the Solid Waste Generation” • Responsibilities Enhancement of biodegradability of polymer composites by addition of Modified starch particles for reduced solid waste generation. I worked on the production and characterization of silica nano-particles which proved to be a good filler material for enhancement of mechanical properties of polymer blends. • Skills 1) Modification of starch by different methods such as pthalation, grafting, heat treatment. 2) Production of nanosilica (high value product) from rice husk (an agricultural waste) 3) Design of a cost effective polymer blender for laboratory operations

      D'Vaiz Chemical

      Production and Quality Assurance Executive
      • Responsibilities I was responsible for making new formulations as well as the quality management of the existing products. The company dealt with a range of household cleaners (Black phenyl, White phenyl, Clear Neem disinfectants, soaps, pesticides and so on). I am well versed in formulating these products as well as assure the long term qualities of the same. I formulated Lysol, derived from linseed oil based soaps and a commercialized hand-soap as well. • Skills 1) Production of different Castor oil/NaOH and Castor oil/KOH soaps and respective cleaning agents like black phenyls. 2) Citronella, Lemongrass based white phenyl. 3) Neem based household cleaners 4) Linseed oil/KOH based Lysol cleaner 5) Hand soap Formulation and troubleshooting of all above
