Klarna was founded in 2005 in Stockholm, Sweden with the aim of making it easier for people to shop online. In the last 15 years, technology has evolved, excited and transformed the world around us, yet our mission remains as relevant as ever, to make paying as simple, safe and above all, smoooth as possible. Klarna is now one of Europe’s largest banks and is providing payment solutions for 85 million consumers across 200,000 merchants in 16 countries. Klarna offers direct payments, pay after delivery options and instalment plans in a smooth one-click purchase experience that lets consumers pay when and how they prefer to. Responsible for managing an 8 FTE count commercial and technical team, divided over two countries. Focussing on singing top tier e-commerce merchants, creating strategic plans on how our services can contribute to the merchant’s success, converting technical assessments into smooth implementation plans and guide go-live and the first months after.

When Mollie started they spearheaded the payments industry by introducing clever payment products which were easier, cheaper, and more flexible than what the rigid, cumbersome banks could do. Now, more than a decade later, Mollie is serving over 80.000 merchants by combining technical and service excellence with ease of integration and transparent pricing. Joining Mollie, as their first commercial employee I had the privilege to contribute to the foundation of the commercial strategy and departments. Primarily responsible for setting up and leading the sales, account management and partnerships teams (18 FTE). Shared responsibility for payment method/gateway selection and management such as Klarna, Paypal, PPRO and Paysafe. Part of management team.

Paylogic offers B2B technological solutions and services, enabling event organizers to gain full control over ticket sales strategies, customer data and access management. The company is specialized in handling peak sales (highest TPS available) and third-party integrations. Since its foundation in 2006 over 30 million tickets for events in over 20 countries have been sold through Paylogic's white-label platform. Acquired by SFX Entertainment (LiveStyle, Inc.) in December 2013, on a $22 million valuation. Responsible for Paylogic's European expansion. Researching new markets, explore opportunities and chart internal requirement, such as local payment methods. Develop business in terms of sales, account and product management. Act as a project manager, managing internal and external stakeholders to make sure that launches are according to timelines, agreements and as efficient as possible.
