After 20 years working on Financial Markets in 5 different countries, I am comfortable with working in rapidly evolving landscape with uncertainties and under pressure. I am a creative problem solver and idea generator currently working as digital assets initiative lead in the innovation department of ING. My strong technological/analytical skills and business savvy character excels in the innovation and entrepreneurship environment. I have a successful experience on leading operational project team from scratch to production on blockchain/DLT/Digital Assets supported by my high motivation to get things done, great level of energy and optimism. I am mentoring startups at StartupBootcamp and Kickstarter and joined various hackathons. I demonstrate thought leadership in different work group (EBF, EBA, R3 DAWG, EU Blockchain forum, World Economic Forum …) and participate in conferences as speaker/panelist (like Consensus); being one of ING spoke person on blockchain-digital assets subject. I am also co-chairing the Custody working group of GDF (Global Digital Finance). Co Chairman of Custody working group
In 2020, the GDF Custody WG finalised and published its custodial wallet code of conduct in Q1. Throughout the rest of the year, the group built a travel rule protocols and solutions inventory as well as a custody regulatory landscape with the support of ING and Clifford Chance. Various internal and external speakers presented on relevant topics like ISO 24165 DTI , OCC announcement, MiCA impacts, the Wolfsberg questionnaire and IVMS101. The members also contributed to responses to various consultation papers impacting digital asset custodians as well as GDF ones. In 2021, the group will continue to monitor travel rule implementation and regulatory changes. We will work on extending the working group to new and traditional custodians as well as extend self-certification of our code of conduct. Finally the co-chairs will contribute to the creation of a training program on the GDF Custody code of conduct in collaboration with the ACI ELAC program.

I lead the ideation, design and development of digital assets initiatives on both private and public blockchain/DLT. Typical projects include tokenization of assets on private permissioned DLT: Corda (for instance FinTech50 recognised HQLAᵡ as one of Europe’s hottest fintech companies in 2019) that we have developed with 5 other banks Goldman Sachs, UBS, Credit Suisse, CIBC, Commertzbank. Initiative Lead / CEO (intrapreneur) of Money Transferrer
I have founded Money Transferrer (an ING Non Branded initiative) and developed it within the Wholesale Banking accelerator. I managed a team of 8 experts (Customer journey expert, UI/UX designer, Graphic designer, Marketing lead, Front End Developer , Back End Developer , Infra/Dev ops, Business analyst). I was responsible of the legal, compliance, branding on top of the business aspect (Product owner, budget management, milestone planning, pitching, stakeholder management...). Money Transferrer was an easy, transparent and reliable way to quickly transfer money internationally at low cost. It was based on ING Pace methodology (composed of Lean Startup principle, Scrum methodology and design thinking). I became CSPO (Certified Scrum Product Owner) and CSM (Certified Scrum Master). We were problem/customer centric and developed our product for and with our early adopters.

In 2014/2015, I led a team of 7 peoples based in Amsterdam and Spain during an 8 months project related to payments which was selected from 1800 ideas and shortlisted to 10. We used ING PACE methodology to develop the concept as a startup. My role as lead also included ideation, problem solving and stake holder management. I was also market maker on G10 FX Swaps and worked on electronic business challenges to improve our e-commerce capacities. My function included algorithmic program of hedging and risk taking across all the Short Term Product (up to 3y). I was looking for “value creation” on the FX business through a global vision of the business (distribution + trading) and an international view of the market. The tools were co-developed with quantitative analysts and business analysts and 80% of the customer flows were handled via e-business.

Relocated to Paris, I handle both market making on FX and arbitrage trading on FX versus rates. Product range covers G10 currencies FX Swap/Fwd (up to 10 years), Non Deliverable Forwards (up to 5 years), short term rates (Eonia, OIS) , Basis Swaps (up to 10 years) and vanilla options (Call/Put). I focus on JPY and Far East currencies in parallel of the majors (EUR, GBP, AUD, CHF). I deal with customer flows, manage arbitrage strategies (Basis swap versus long term FX swap, intra and inter currencies carry trades…) and take care of the electronic trading platform.
