Scope: The challenge was to build a team, develop, and grow business. Recruited, trained, and mentored staff, set the infrastructure, negotiated vendor agreements, targeted and secured 8 Marquee Accounts, and established RxUSA in the industry. Over a period of 5 years, grew this business from $4M to $300M with average $15M revenue per employee. This achievement was featured in; PCMag.com, Investors.com, and Inc 5000 (click titles for articles) where RxUSA was identified as one of the fastest growing companies in America. This event led to the 2005 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year award for the New York Metro Area (Consumer and Business Services). The events that led to this achievement are as follows;Sales Excellence: Identified the need to develop RxUsa' wholesale business to improve profitability. Targeted and secured the first 3 Marquee Accounts within 6 months and used the purchasing power to negotiate tiered discounts and favorable terms with multiple vendors. Operational Excellence / Supply Chain / Inventory Management: With business growing exponentially, inventory location, proper pedigree, and tracing/tracking of pharmaceutical products became an issue. Conceived and initiated a full inventory system upgrade integrated with current software. Strategic Finance: Dramatic growth of infrastructure required extensive investment to keep pace with the exceptional sales revenue. Built a strategic plan to finance infrastructure. Within 60 days, secured a new line of credit ($5M). E-Commerce: In an effort to continually develop sales and expand the business, identified that our Web presence was not contributing at its potential. International Sales Development: Championed the idea to market our products and services outside the United States. Created the strategic plan, researched regulatory restrictions, developed prospects, and negotiated agreements with shipping vendors.

Scope: Created a new retail pharmacy from a storefront. Negotiated lease, purchased fixtures, created advertising campaigns, and fueled growth by hard work and persistence. This was a profitable business within 90 days and consistently grew sales every year to the point where it reached $5M. The business became so attractive it became the target of a buyer and was sold.
