People know me as "Mike the Coworkaholic". Since 2013 I've researched, studied and visited over 600 flex workspace locations in 42 countries. In that time, I have been honored to be on lists such as "Most Influential People in Coworking" in addition to speaking at Running Remote, Nomad Summit, Coworking Unconference Asia, Coworking Europe, GCUC and SXSW. Organizations that have retained my consulting services include, but are not limited to: JLL, Selina, WeWork, CBRE, Deskpass, Marriott International and Wyndham Hotels. In addition to the governments of Barbados & Mexico. While all projects are unique, clients turn to me for industry trends and intelligence, design, operations, software/hardware stacks and integrations, app functionality, staffing/training and last but not least, sales & marketing. It's my love of marketing and advertising that lead me to discover the concept of flexible workspace and remote working. Besides my work in real estate, I have over a decade of experience in publishing, award marketing programs, event production and experiential marketing campaigns. I have sold, serviced or managed over $10 M in sponsorships and advertising revenue for organizations such as American City Business Journals, Google and Smithsonian Enterprises. Coworkaholic is a lifestyle brand and media company that produces events and content of interest to digital nomads, remote workers, freelancers and entrepreneurs alike. Our content shares how to cowork/remote work and travel the world on points and miles. Since 2015, over 500,000 unique visitors have visited our site and over 2.7 M individuals have engaged with our array of social media channels. In 2017, Coworkaholic lead the QTLY tour, in partnership with Coworker.com, Deskpass, SwingSpace, WUN Systems, Essensys and Communitas (now Agora RDM). The tour included hosting local coworking owner/operator meetups in 17 cities throughout North America over the course of 12 weeks. In 2019, Coworkaholic joined the BoardingArea network, home to some of the biggest and best travel blogs in the world. Since that time, results have included growth of traffic by +4,029% and revenue of +1,230%.
